We had a very bad experience here. 8 person strong group booked the place 2 weeks in advance and booked evening food etc and all. But when we turned up after the real treck which took around 15 - 20 minutes (low clearance cars will have a difficult time through that road)they have told us the rooms are double booked. They refuse to give us the rooms even though we were the fist to get there. We were lucky to not get that place as we had a much better place near kuttikkanam. I would not recommend the place for party with women and kids. Once we reached there the person we booked switched his phone off as well, even though we talked to him 15 minutes back.

Very disappointing and untrustworthy experience.
We paid an advance amount through GPay to a person named Rajesh Rajan to confirm our rooms. However, when we reached the property, we were shocked to learn that our rooms were not available. The caretakers, Rajesh and Prabhu, did not inform us in advance about the non-availability and kept us waiting until the last minute.
Later, we found out that our rooms were given to other guests who had booked online. This is completely unfair and unprofessional. They then tried to accommodate us in some low-quality alternative rooms that were not acceptable.
The whole situation felt misleading and poorly managed. We also sensed something suspicious about the way bookings were handled, which made us feel unsafe and uncomfortable. Because of the lack of trust and poor service, we decided to vacate immediately.
I would not recommend this place to anyone. Please be careful before making any advance payment here.

The location is in a very narrow passage, which is risky and the road is not well maintained. It is very difficult to reach the property. The property plan is good, but the overall maintenance is poor. The pool is very small, and some maintenance issues were observed in the rooms. For example, the doors are not closing properly due to lack of maintenance. Not recommended for couples or family. Okay for group

I would suggest changing the name to Devil’s Castle, as the route and path leading to the castle create a very isolated and haunting atmosphere. The area is difficult to access due to poor maintenance, which makes the journey challenging. If you’re planning to visit as a couple, this place may not be suitable, as the atmosphere is not very welcoming. It’s better to visit with friends or in a group.

The place is not suitable for families. It's a single hotel in a steep hill and roads are very steep and not in condition. When we reached there me and my husband and only one care taker were the only people in the entire hill and the place is very isolated. And we were forced to vacate the very next moment as we were insecure to stay there.The view from hotel is breathtaking that was the only advantage there and there is no food. Once reached the hotel one need to travel 20 to 30 min to reach the highway through the steep road and it's very difficult to go out for food. So better come here after having food.
